Святые хуи девы марии из преисподней! Я конечно не буду вам советовать в это играть. Играть в это невозможно. Но почитать предысторию – дело святое.

В первый раз я нажал Alt+X на этом месте, чтобы перевести дух. Alt+X – это в мире AGS сочетание для аварийного выхода из игры.

Ах да, почему играть в ЭТО невозможно. Беру свои слова обратно. Возможно! Вполне возможно! Только я обычно не потребляю таких веществ.

Lightning

Единственное творение, которое вообще можно назвать игрой и не стыдно (особенно после небольшого допиливания) положить в портфолио. Кафкианский сюжет, уютный звук (иногда затыкается, проблемы движка), убийственно неудобное управление (всё на уровне), приятный арт и кнопки интерфейса, выезжающие совсем не оттуда, откуда ты их ждёшь.

Автор осилил rain and snow plugin, да и вообще, не всё для него потеряно.

Собственно, лучшее творение подборочки.

Там было ещё две игры, но давайте не будем о грустном.

Green Carnation – A Blessing In Disguise (2003)

The band is good, and this album is really one of their best. Can’t really say why, but my favourite track is Lullaby in Winter. Come on, dig it, it’s postnuclear, dude! Others are awesome too.

Arcturus – The Sham Mirrors (2002)

Sci-fi themed metal is pretty rare thing to encounter, and this one is exceptionally good. Words can’t describe how great it is to roam morning city while listening to these sounds of galaxies clashing and fighting to death in the earphones. All songs are great except maybe the last one, which is not as great as the other ones, but is great nonetheless. Must have for all the stargazing types. Another their album I’d recommend would be Sideshow Symphonies (2005), and the song Ad Astra from La Masquerade Infernale (1997). Celtic Frost – Monotheist (2006)

This might be a failure of stylization. Because it seems this album was supposed to induce the feelings of cold winterish snowstorm in its listeners. It fails to do so. Instead it has the feeling of really really hot and crowded and dusty middle eastern city of old (think Old Testament, Bethlehem, Sodom und Gomorrah), and THAT makes me love it. Not to mention outstanding female vocals on tracks 4 (Drown in Ashes with vocals by Lisa Middelhauve of Xandria) and 7 (Obscured with vocals by Simone Vollenweider). So yeah, you should listen to it.

Bruce Dickinson – Tyranny of Souls (2005)

This is classic, really. Especially “Navigate the Seas of the Sun” track, which I simply luv.

Jeffrey Walker und die Fluffers – Welcome to the Carcass Cuntry (2006)

Not really what you’d buy as a birthday present for your dear grandma, but a decent album with quite a few really good tracks nonetheless. Oh and did I mention that it comprises country songs performed by (mostly) death metal musicians (with Jeffrey Walker, of Carcass fame, on the vocals). Since I couldn’t really include any Carcass albums in today’s list, I had to settle with this one.

Chrome Division – Doomsday Rock’n'Roll (2006)

This music makes me want to buy a bike and ride somewhere, preferrably with sum bitch on the back. So yeah, it’s an olde schoole heavye metalle, just with more modern sound. And they rock.

It is a good game by someone called Gregory Weir.

You have to raise a dragon, and what will become of it depends on its diet. Then you use it to burn a village or two. Very cool and relaxing game.
